Malaysia is full of diversity which is reflected in its population. 57% of the country is made up of Malays and the other 43% comprises of Chinese, Indian, Bumiputeras and other races.
The national language of Malaysia is Malay and English is also broadly spoken as well. The diverse population also means that there are other languages and dialects spoken in the country.
The official religion is Islam, although there are also other practising religions such as Buddhism and Christianity.
